Introducing my younger sister, Naomi, an inspiring self-employed artist, and a loving mother to her two children, Tatum and Brynn. She resides in Montrose, Colorado, where she has built a successful career in the arts.
Naomi studied Studio Art at Colorado Mesa University (CMU) Online from 2006 to 2015, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. During her time at CMU, she also studied Graphic Design, showcasing her diverse artistic talents.
Before fully committing to her passion for art, Naomi was a dedicated teacher. She taught computer subjects at Northside Elementary School from August 2013 to May 2014 in Montrose, Colorado. Prior to that, she worked as a substitute teacher at Montrose County School District.
In 2012, Naomi launched her very own website, showcasing her incredible artwork. Over the years, she has been involved in various creative projects, including a children's book for ages 4-9 called "Dreams" which she co-authored with Jordan Farelli. The book tells the story of a young tiger who dreams up a candy world full of fantastic friends.
Naomi has always been a source of inspiration and support for those around her. A quote by Neil Gaiman resonates deeply with her: “I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you'll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you'll make something that didn't exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind.”
Throughout her journey, Naomi has experienced significant life events, including the birth of her children Tatum in 2005 and Brynn in 2017. She left her job at Northside Elementary School in 2014 to focus on her artistic career and has been self-employed since 2007.
As a mother, artist, and friend, Naomi continues to inspire those around her with her creativity, kindness, and wisdom.
